What Are The Causes And Treatment For The White Spot Inside The Eye?

Hello! My son has developed a white spot inside his eye and is not painful at all, It started with a puff and redness under his eye and then gradually the puffness all disappeared except he has a whit spot inside eye. It is worrying should I take him to the doctor?
