What Are The Causes For Burning Sensation While Urinating?

Hello there. I have been experiencing burning whilst urinating and it is very bothersome. First I thought it was thrush so took a canesten tablet but after it didn t go I went to the doctor. Did a urine and blood test. Blood work came back normal but there was a trace of blood in the urine. Was prescribed Uvamin Retard. I am nearly at the end of my prescription (4 tablets left) but burning sensation still has not gone. I have PCOS; could that affect at all? If not how can this burning feeling go away? It is definitely not STD related as not active. Thanks.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have urinary tract infection. Your PCOS is mostly not related with your burning sensation. You should take a course of antibiotics like levofloxacin or norfloxacin. Drink plenty of water. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
