What Are The Causes Of Missing Periods?

me and my gf do sex on 1 st of december ,,and due to unprotective sex she take ipll within 24 hour...her period time is 23 dec and she check her pregnency test ....report is negative but till today 4/1/14 her period is nt started right now.....

Hi and welcome to HCM. If your girl friend has taken i pill with 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse then chances of pregnancy are quite less or nil. i pill and any other emergency contraceptive pills should not be used frequently and after using this the periods may come early or for some females may have delayed periods. If periods are delayed more than a week and have some stomach cramps its better to re do home pregnancy tests and contact a doctor. Its better to use condom than a pill to avoid unwanted pregnancy.
