What Are The Chances Of Bleeding After Sex Post Cervical Biopsy?

I m 33 years old, 5 1 tall, 180 pounds. I had a cervical biopsy and was told not to have sex or use tampons for 2 weeks. The fact of the matter is that I will be having sex 4 days after the procedure. I have not bled at all since the procedure yesterday, and based on other postings online, I think that s a good sign of healing. What is the likelihood that after I have sex I will bleed if I haven t bled yet? Or is there still a chance that I could bleed within the next 2 weeks as a result of the biopsy? I m aware of the risks of infections of having intercourse before the 2 week recommendation.

Hi.

I understand your concern.

Usually post cervical biopsy it is recommended that not to have a sex at lest for 1 week.

as you have done within 4 days and you had no bleeding so now there are very less chances of bleeding after sex.

So do not think much there are less chances.

But next time please taken care of this and if you have sign of infection then consult your doctor and take advise from him.

I hope i have answered your query.

Happy to help you further.

Thank you.
