What Are The Chances Of Fertility After Vasectomy?

Hello, I am a 33 yearl old female. I have had regualr periods (to the day) since the age of 13. I have given birth to two children and this was the only time my period was late. I am now 5 days late but my husband has had a vasectomy. I have taken a pregnancy test which was negative but am having pregnancy symptoms. What are the possibilites that I am pregnant?

Hi welcome to him
I understand your query and concern.
Generally post vasectomy, initially for 3 to 6months there will be chances of sperm motility and thereby pregnancy, hence Barrier contraceptives should be used for 3months at least.Anyways get Urinary pregnancy test,Ultrasound abdomen immediately to confirm .Do not worry.Avoid stress and anxiety.Use oral contraceptive pills or barrier method of contraceptives to avoid pregnancy. Also avoid sexual activity without protection until your tests are completed.Consult your Doctor for expert management.
Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.
