What Are The Chances Of Normal Pregnancy With 2 Loops Of Nuchal Cord Being Noted?

My sonography report done in 32 weeks 5 days mentions

liquor-oligohydramnios-moderate and 2 loops of nuchal cord are noted.1 loop encircling the fetal neck.

I am worried as I was hoping for a normal delivery & this might increase my chance for c-section.Also my Bp is arounf 140/88 which was earlier 140/96 whereby my gynac has started alphadopha 250.pls advice.

I understand your concern.
- Nuchal cord around neck is a common finding in pregnancy.
Many a times it can get rewound spontaneously & you may deliver normally.
Even if persists/ forms a knot- LSCS is performed.
-You are already taking medicines for high blood pressure. so do not worry about that. try to avoid psychological stress/ anxiety . In addition,try to be positive & calmposed. This will help you in controlling blood pressure.
* - Follow your doctor's advise strictly ,be regular in pregnancy check ups.
-Be alert about baby movements daily. You can count them for fixed hours at fixed time every day. In case you find any change ( less or more),you should see your doctor.
* As already said, there are chances of spontaneous correction & normal delivery. At the most you may need LSCS- which is very easy with modern techniques/ materials. So please do not worry. A careful vigilance/ expert advise would take you out of the problem.
