What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After An Abortion?
I recently had a non-surgical abortion, went back for my follow up 7 days later and was told that some tissue and blood clots remained in my uterus but that the pregnancy was gone aside from that. I was given 4 more cytotec pills to take, I had started taking my bc pills 4 days prior but was told to stop so I can take the cytotec, I drank them late at night 12:30am some bad cramping but no bleeding aside from the spotting I was still having. About 24hrs later I had unprotected sex, I tried cleaning myself gently with water. My spotting continued. I went to my second follow up 5 days later and was told I still have tissue, some small blood clots that should go away on their own or on my next cycle but my uterus looked clear and free from pregnancy aside from that. what are the chances of me being pregnant again?

Hi,
It is very very unlikely that you are pregnant again,and you should be getting your regular menses on time.
The fact that you were just after an abortion and also that you had taken 4 pills of oral contraception makes it very unlikely that you will get pregnant.
So ,please do not worry.
Take care and be physically and mentally prepared before considering next pregnancy.I would advise you to start your oral contraceptive pills from your next cycle.
