My periods is irregular...my doc consult me to take yasmin tablet...bt due to unavailibiltiy of dis tab..i cant take dis in last month...n..hv unprotected sex in last week.....n bcoz...of..tension...i hv started modus from yesterday.....is der any chances of preganancy..

Hi, I have gone through your question. Modus is medroxyprogesterone acetate, which is a type of progesterone. It has no contraceptive action. Since you had unprotected intercourse in this menstrual cycle, there are chances of getting pregnant. Moreover, modus is used to delay periods, so it is not advisable to take them in your case as it will lead to further confusion.
I would suggest you to stop the drug, and get your urine pregnancy test done if your periods are delayed.
