What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy On Taking The Non-active Pill?
What happens if I take one non-active pill accidentally then take an active pill on each of the next two days and all that is left are non-active pills? Am I likely to get pregnant if I had unprotected sex the day after taking the accidental non-active pill?
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I understand from the details you have given that you are talking of iron containing or placebo tablets to be taken on last 7 days of pill cycle. Ideally, if you have forgot to take a pill than you should take active pill as soon as you remember it or 2 pills next day. If you forget to take 2 pill on two consecutive days, than you should another method of contraception for the rest of the cycle but still finish the remaining pills. As such, missing 2 or more pills can lead to failure of contraceptive effect but missing 1 pill does not put you in risk of getting pregnant.
So, I think you are not likely to get pregnant.
Hope this will be helpful. Do ask if any further question is there. Take care.
