hello, I just had an X-ray of my chest. it says that Bilateral hilar congestion with prominent broncho vascular markings- Bronchitis . I m suffering from cough for last 60 days. now i am under treatment..what should i do further for precaution and advice me to take proper food.
Thanks for your question on HCM. Try to follow these preventive measures for bronchitis. 1. Avoid exposure of cold climate. 2. Avoid ice creams and cold drinks. 3. Eat healthy food, freshly prepared. 4. Drink plenty of fluids including fruit juices. 5. Avoid dust, chemicals and pollution. 6. Avoid pet exposure at home. 7. Chest physiotherapy with deep breathing exercise will help you alot in maintaining good lung functions. 8. Avoid smoking , both active and passive. 9. Take adult vaccination with pneumococcal and influenza vaccines for prevention of lung infection as bronchitis patients are easily infected.
