Hi myself, Santosh Salvi, residing at Malad, Mumbai. I have a daughter of 8 years, who has a squint eye from birth. I have shown to many eye specialist doctor. Also undertaken few treatment including opticlude, but of no use. Now the doctors are advising for a surgery. Since an eye is the vital part of the body, I am not convinced for any surgery. Am looking for a treatment without any surgery or side effects. If you think, your experience can help to resolve the issue. Pls. call back, so we can take the necessary initiatives. Looking for your reply, Thanks !

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
As long as the squint (Strabismus) is concern, mostly conservative treatment gives the good result and that include glasses, patches, this treatment take little more time and require more patience, again this has to be manage with the paediatric ophthalmologist, if even after that it does not come around then surgery is the only way, remember the surgery being perfumed on eye muscles and not on eye it self so no need to worry about surgery, it is okay if you go for surgery have nice day.
