What Are The Effects Of Taking Fluticasone Propionate And Marijuana Together?
My son was taking Fluticasone Propionate and decided to smoke marihuana and drink alcohol with some friends. During this time he became very paranoid and started thinking others around him was trying to hurt him. So now he thinks everybody doesn t believe him when he tells you the other people was really trying to hurt him. He even called 911 to help him. Would him doing that in one night cause this to happen?
The symptoms described above can be due to marijauna smoking alone. One of the effect of smoking marijuana is amplification of thoughts, if your son is paranoid about his friends going to hurt him, marijuana will actually reinforce and enhance that belief. And alcohol may have compounded both his judgement and added to the effect of smoking. Fluticasone may not be involved much in these effects. I would suggest my patient to avoid marijuana smoking and check out for the regional legal status of this medication. Marijuana has less addictive potential compared to other hard drugs. And also not advisable to combine marijuana with alcohol. Hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
