What Are The Long-term Consequences Of Skull Fracture In Childhood?
my son had a fractured skull age 5 months old he is now age 49 most all of his life he suffers from headaches he also has a hard time in his life doesn t want to to be around people much I want to know if there be long term symtoms and damage to the brain at this late age my name is Rose
Hello Rose, If he doesn't have any weakness and his CT/MRI scans are normal, the problem is probably not related to the fracture. I feel he seen at a neuropsychiatric service and assessed well. It may be possible to improve upon his condition.
