What Are The Long Term Effects Of Decompression Sickness?

If you ve had decompression sickness and was treated in a decompression chamber 3 times, can you still have bubbles in your blood several years later? If not, then what are the long term effects of DCS? My husband says he has severe pain in the same shoulder that the bubbles were trapped in a couple yrs ago and he is in severe pain, just wondering if it has anything to do with the bends he had from 2 yrs. ago…

Long-term side effects of decompression sickness is osteonecrosis lead to bone or joint pain and changes in the end organs due to emboli. Impaired memory or neurological or cognitive function may be altered. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
