What Are The Long Term Effects Of Levonelle?
My girlfriend and I had sex on 22 Dec, the condom split. We went to the doctor and got levonelle 1500 morning after pill. Last night we had sex again and the same problem happened with the condom. We just need to know if it is ok to go back to the doctor and get another one without any long term issues. Thank you Declan

The morning-after pill can help prevent pregnancy when you take it after having unprotected sex. But this drug will not prevent pregnancy for any sex you may have after taking it. So if you use the morning-after pill and then have unprotected sex, you will need to take it again. Two doses of the drug may not cause any long term side effects. Nausea, vomiting or abdominal cramps may occur for a few days and will reduce by 3 to 5 days.
