What Are The Precautions To Take After A Ligament Injury?

Sir I.had ligament injury 9 days ago due to severe twisting of my right ankel. It swelled up to much. I straight away went to doctor.. He plastered my ankel joint for three.weaks. Now what preacautions I should take. And how much timei will take to recover..hope that.u will look into the matter.

1. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to completely heal them.
2. Swelling can stay up to 6 months.
3. Do not put weight on affected side.
4. Take Brufen tablet if your pain persist.
