What Are The Pros And Cons Of Being Vaccinated For Hepatitis A And B?

My family is going to the Dominican over Christmas. My husband feels our children (3years and 5months) should be immunized against hep a and b. I dont feel comfortable as I don't know enough pros and cons. Can you please give me some advice?

Thank you
Laura

Thanks for the query.
You must vaccinate your children with hepatitis- B.
Hep.- A is needed for older one as 5 month old will not drink outside food or water(he must be on breast feed).
Please check universal precaution and countries criteria if any for vaccination.
