Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 65 yrs, slim and reasonably active ex-army man, employed in a desk job presently, but do weights twice a week and exercises/cardio 2/3 times a week at home. I feel fit but have BP readings as high as 160 to 90 and even less at times. Am on 5 mg BP tablets daily. Do I have high BP? Thanks and regards.
Blood pressure readings of 160/90 are high, and you should see your doctor to correct your medications. One option is to increase the dose of your current medication, also another medication of low dose can be added.
Hope I could help you
Wishing you good health
