What Are The Reasons For Having Dizziness And Clogged Ears For A Person Having Vertigo?
My husband has frequent episodes of dizziness. He says his ears feel like the are sloshy, but MD said ears were clear. When he gets dizzy he closes his eyes and when opens he says it is like a circle with a burst of light. He has a hx. of vertigo. Could this be related to that or could it be something else?
Your husband may have a problem with the inner ear In most of the cases of giddiness due to inner ear problems these typical symptoms of tinnitus or ear drumming, along with ear block and giddiness is present.
This is seen particularly in a condition called the Menierre's disease.
In any case it would be advisable to get an audiometric assessment and get an ENT consult so that a proper evaluation can be done. You must remember that the problems of the ears are the most common causes of giddiness in general.
