What Are The Reasons For Pins And Needles In Legs Of A 8 Year Old Child?

Hi my daughter is 8 and is always complaining of pains and pins and needles in her legs, she wakes up in the night with these pains too, what do u think I should do? The doctor said it would be growing pains, but it s happening a lot and causing her a lot of pain .

these could be symptoms of low potassium or low iron stores causing restless legs syndrome
ask your doctor to check your childs electrolytes and iron stores -ferritin levels
start child on a multivitamin and on iron tablet or syrup
