What Are The Reasons For Uncontrollable Diarrhea And Nausea After Surgery For Hiatal Hernia?
Have sudden onset diarea, uncontrollable. Some feeling of slight nausea after eating just a little bit of food. This has been going on for about 9 months. I had surgery for a hiatal hernia and this started while I was on a liquid diet after the surgery. I was told that it would get better after a month or two but 9 months later I am still having the issues.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe there appears to be some problem during the surgery, and there appears to be some malunion . I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a C.T. scan for diagnosis. and you may need to have a surgery to correct it. Other reasons may be the anxiety. If nothing is found in the C.T. scan anxiety may be confirmed. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms, lactic acid bacilli, ofloxacin, ranitidine 300, and alprazolam at night. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
