Hi

There could be many reasons for RBCs in urine. The most common causes are infection, stones, cancer. So any case of RBCs in the urine should be investigated with urine cytology, CT scan of the kidney/ bladder and cystoscopy by protocol. It should be more of a concern if you smoke or exposed to chemicals.Because chances of cancer are more in these cases.

If all 3 tests showed RBCs then you should go ahead with the above mentioned tests.

If you have any queries please reply.
