Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello.Thank you for your question. I am sorry about your daughters rash Sight unseen, it is difficult for me to diagnose your daughters rash. However, based in your doctors treatment plan, it seems he believes the rash is due to an allergic reaction. In that case, daily zyrtec is a good choice. I agree with giving it a few days to work before considering further investigation. If it works, and the rash never returns, you can put the incident behind you and not worry.
