What Are The Risks Of Having Oral Sex When Suffering From Strep Throat?
Hello Dr. Bhatti. I believe I have strep, although not confirmed yet, but I performed oral sex on my husband & made love to him directly after. Are there any risks to either of us? We have 6 children so I m almost 100% sure it s strep having gone through it with them in their younger years.

There is no such risk to your husband or you, other than the possibility of him also acquiring a strep throat infection, if you both had contact between your oral cavities through actions like kissing. Other than this there is nothing more serious.
