Hello
AKT4 ( rifampicin+isoniazide+pyrazinamide+ethambutol) is a standard anti tubercular drug and this is a WHO approved treatment for tuberculosis .
As you are dentist and belong to medical field , so I want to tell you that take a full course as advised by your treating physician and in any condition don't stop the treatment before stipulated time.
Tuberculosis ( pulmonary ) is contagious ( infectious ) disease but only air droplet infection causes infection to other persons , that's why PTB patient advised to cover their mouth with cloth .
Usually these all drugs are safe and a patient can use even for 2 1/2 years without any major side effects .
Only nausea , vomiting and dizziness are mild side effects .
I advise my patient to take pantaprazole 40 mg twice in day on empty stomach for nausea etc.
Yes you can conceive after completion of ATT.
Good luck.
