What Are The Side Effects Of Ascoril-LS?

My baby is 3mths old and is suffering from cold, nasal blockage and congestion... he was prescribed solvincold AF, Ascoril LS and nebulizer as well.... after the first dosage of the course i could see his discomfort... he got irritated, restless and couldn t sleep... request advice... regards Savitha

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Ascoril-LS.

The common side effects include restlessness, irritability, increased heart beat and tremors.
The above mentioned medicines should be stopped once the cough is under control. It should not be given for more than 6 days at a stretch.

If the cough does not subside then kindly revisit your doctor to rule out infections which is one of the cause for persistent cough for a long duration.
