Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve just started taking betnosol forte for 4 months and my vitelligo has stopped y doctor says to continue the medicine I haven t had any side effects but am scared of the weight gain... So I have been jogging regularly and am exersising By doing so can weight gain be avoided ?
Here is my opinion as a Family Physician: - A low dose of betnesol may be well tolerated, and doesn't require additional measures. - Obesity caused from corticosteroids (as Betnesol), which can be enormous in some patients, can be minimised by the early use of a calorie controlled diet and jogging.
Hope my answer was heplful for you!
