I am 40 yr old female taking 200mcg of levothyroxine for long time. Have had heart palpatations, chest pain at times, irritated, sob, insomnia. Doc said heart palpatations just mean you have a healthy heart. Also take 150mc buproprion ER 2 xs DAY and have had ringing in ears, shakiness, agitation, anxiety, dizzy trouble sleeping,fast heart beat and frequent urination. Dr put me on BP meds (caused severe dizzy spells) a while back now treating with Hawthorn and bp normal ranges. She also put me on a Benzo Clonazepam 1 mg 2 times day-on the package insert of the buproprion it clearly states Do not take buproprion if you use benzodiazepines. My moods are not level in fact I have been completely not my self according to my family. I too can tell a difference of depression worse and anxiety or panic attacks happening more and more. Also paranoid of people. Some one can make me laugh and the next breath they may joke and I take it so personally I am crying in corner -Husband can attest to this behavior too. I see md on Monday and am going to talk to her about what has been happening to me. I think I need to get OFF the bupropion and have a Lower dose of levothyroxine 200 is a lot for a 40 yr old active healthy gal. I feel I am having side affects treated with more medication such as clonazepam to conteract the side affects of the buproprion and levothyroxine. I have severe HIGH s and Low s with mood personality angry irritated then sometimes just ok peaceful w/being sedated w/ clonazepam. I am very concerned about weight gain with other antidepressants such as paxil and Prozac made me gain weight and buproprion keeps me right at 170 I would like to weigh 160 but just stay STuck at 170-172, if they decrees my levo then I can gain like 10 20 lbs just from getting off med. I see women that are at 112 mcg but not 200. With all my side effects I am really worried about my health from taking these 3 combined High doses not clonazepam because it levels me out again sedates shuts down that part of my head that Over thinks everything!
