What Are The Side Effects Of Cortisone Injection?

I had a cortisone injection in my elbow about 10 days ago and it has begun to itch around my elbow area and is still somewhat swollen and very warm to the touch. I have tried creams and Benadryl for the intense itching. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Local side effect can be occur due to cortisone injections such a pain, itching, erythema or blister formation. U have to use anti-histamine drugs or calamine lotion for local apply. if r u experienced fever then contact doctor.
