What Are The Side Effects Of Cortisone Injection?

I had 6 cortisone injections in 2 months and suddenly my blood sugar was diabetic level and now my hair is thinning and Inam female with a ton of hair Imam 57 . My last cortisone shot was in September After 4, shots in 2 weeks I developed diabetic symptoms think this will go away after it all wears off?

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
You are right, cortisone is a triggering factor for those who are at risk for diabetes.
You have not mentioned why you are taking cortisone. If it is for a chronic illness and you require to take it off and on, then you are at risk of diabetes remaining.
Your blood sugars may return to normal most probably if you do not have an auto immune disease and there is no need to take cortisone in the future.
It is good for you to follow a diabetic diet, exercise and practise stress relieving measures to be in control of the blood sugar. If it is very high, medicines may be required in addition.
