What Are The Side Effects Of Diane 35?
I was on antibiotics (doxycycline, i think) i started them on the 12th jan and finished on the 20th. I am on the pill, a generic version of Diane 35. I had unprotected sex on the 23rd and 25th of Jan. after the last antibiotic tablet i had spotting then about 5-6 days ago the bleeding got heavier (like a normal period). my next period is due in 7 days so I think that my cycle is out of whack due to the antibiotics but i'm also worried that I'm pregnant or something else.

Your history is ambiguous so very difficult what do you want to ask.
bleeding was there like a normal period with heavy bleeding so no chance of pregnancy .
2nd point is that you mentioned that you are taking diane 35 i.e cyproterone acetate 35 , that is an oral contraceptive pill and very effective and most potent , so pregnancy.
3rd point is that doxycyline never causes bleeding or any menses irregularity .
So in my opinion you are not pregnant and bleeding may be due to tension or anxiety or hormonal imbalance.
If repeatedly this occurs ( bleeding)then consult a gynecologist and get his opinion, otherwise this is not a cause of concern.
