What Are The Side Effects Of Levaquin And Prednisone?
i have taken levaquin and prednisone for a sinust infection. about six days into the medication i developed heartburn and acid reflux symptoms that have not gone away. i stopped taking the levaquin after 8 days but he pain has not stopped. could this be a serious condition?
Hello You took levaquin and prednisolone and developed heart burn and hyper acidity . Nothing is serious but bothersome and irritating , as these symptoms are due to the side effect of these two drugs ( more by levaquin). These measures may help you. Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with block. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2 hours before you lie down. To control stomach acid one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them ( as coffee or tea in excessive amount)them or eat chocolate or spicy or greasy or fatty foods. Also take some antacid but if symptoms are severe you may need drug like pantoprazole+domeperidone once or twice in day for 4-5 days . Good luck.
