What Are The Side Effects Of Liv 52 Ds?

Hi, I am anuj, Age - 26 Yrs, My height is 5 10 , weight is 54 Kg. I am pure vegeterian. With the intention to increase weight, I want to start Liv 52 DS. Please let me know if there is any side-effects of the same. and also suggest some other ways to increase weight but such ways which do not break my vegeternism.

Hello Anju,

The best way to gain weight is to eat more of wholesome food. As fats and oils have more calories than protein and carbohydrates, you can increase its proportion within reasonable limits. I find that Liv 52 syrup improves appetite in my patients without significant side effects. Another medication which improves appetite is cyproheptidine. It makes you sleepy, so be careful to take it small doses at bed time and refrain from potentially dangerous activities.
