Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 65 y/o male with copd and htn. I routinely take metoprolol, 100 mg. bid, lisinopril, 20 mg. bid, and Norvasc, 5 mg. daily. I am having frequent episodes of pvc s and moderately severe back pains in the thoracic area, not lower back pains. Should I do something?
seeing that your doctor has prescribed you 3 separate class of cardiac medications, of which, first two have reported side effects of various types of pain, if the pain doesn't look like being radiating to Left hand, neck and back, or if you don't have fever, you can take regular pain medications provided you are not allergic to them.
Let me know if you have further queries.
