What Are The Side Effects Of Monticope Tablet?

My bestfriend takes this Monticope tablet. He says its for his liver & that he has some problem, I have researched on the internet that it is used for Infections & that there are side effects for it. My question dear doctor is – “please tell me what are the side effects to this”

Hello,Thanks for using Healthcaremagic. i had gone through the data you have posted.
tab.Monticope consists of ambroxol+montelukast+ levocetrizine,
which is used for respiratory tract infection, asthma,COPD and not for liver conditions.

generally drug is used in daily practice without much side effects. but possible side effects are
ambroxol may cause nausea, loose motions, skin rash, burning urination and heartburn.

montelukast may cause : > 10%-headache. 1-10% abdominal pain,pharyngitis, rash,urticatria.
levocetrizine may cause: drymouth , fatigue, pharyngitis and rarely drowsiness.

but in clinical practice we use plain monteluktast for long durations without significant side effects.
