What Are The Side Effects Of Omnacortil?

Hi , My 8 year son was admitted in hospital with right eye nerve palsy and Grananolontosu lesion(under Evaluation) and at time of discharge he has been prescribed Omnacortil 20 mg twice a day for a week,than20 mg and 10 mg for other week.Pls tell me the side effects of omnacotil

Hi,

Omnacortil contains prednisolone which belongs to the group of medications known as corticosteroids is used to treat various conditions like arthritis, breathing disorders, allergic reactions, gouty arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, nephrotic syndrome, eye disorder, different skin conditions like psoriasis etc. Side effects of Omnacortil are nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, weight gain, dizziness, aggression, blurred vision, fast heartbeat, increased appetite, excessive sweating, skin thinning, stomach upset, confusion, anxiety, mood swings, irritation, delayed wound healing, infections, unusual bruising, bloating, heartburn, trouble sleeping, menstrual period changes, allergic reactions etc.
