What Are The Side Effects Of Qutan SR 200?

Hai Doctor, My elder sister aged about 50, now is in Bipolar disorder disease. The doctor advised to take Qutan SR 200 - one in night, Dicorate ER 1000 mg in night and Trancodol Dt 5-(Half tab in night). Yesterday she take only Qutan SR 200. But throught out the day she did not awake from sleep. Have any side effect to this tab. Whether it continue? Your great advice I need. Pls sir....

Qutan SR Tablet contains 'Quetiapine' as an active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of psychiatric conditions like Schizophrenia, Mania, Depressive disorders and other such conditions. It acts by changing the activity of serotonin neurotransmitter and dopamine in the brain.
The following is a list of possible side effects that may occur by use of Qutan SR medication.
1. Seizure
2. Sexual dysfunction
3. Dizziness
4. Withdrawal symptoms
5. Decreased or increased in certain types of blood cells
Kindly observe for occurrence of any of the above side effects. You need to seek medical attention promptly if they do not go away.
