What Are The Side Effects Of Regestrone And Sandoz?
Hell Dr.My wife had missed the Periods from 10 days. her date was 6th of Nov but has not got the periods till 2day (19th Nov). We went to local Dr. and she has Given Regestrone 5mg Sandoz 3times a day for 3 days, and Feofl spansule capsule once a day for 10 days. While surfing the net i found that regestron tabs are used both to delay the periods and in case of late periods.Can you please make me clear the exact use of regestron tablet. Also please tell me if any side effects are thr from these both tablet and capsule.Thanks in advance.

Regestrone 5 mg Sandoz contains norethisterone is used to treat various menstrual problems including painful, heavy or irregular periods, premenstrual cycle (PMS) and a condition known as endometriosis. It is the man made version of the natural female sex hormone. Its side effects are nausea, vomiting, irregular menstrual cycles, headache, dizziness, abnormal cramps, vaginal spotting, breast tenderness, facial hair growth, acnes, blurred vision, changes in menstrual flow, amenorrhea, depression, mood swings, chest pain, fatigue, fainting, allergic reactions etc.
Fefol Spansule contains iron, folic acid which is used to treat and prevent iron deficiency anemia and folate deficiency particularly during pregnancy and menstruation. Its side effects are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, black discolouration of feces, headache, joint pain, muscle pain, sweating, shortness of breath, chest pain, allergic reactions etc.
