What Are The Side Effects Of Topamax 25 Mg?

I m noticing thinning in my hair while taking topamax for migraines. I m most likely going to stop it if I can t slow it down, do you find this side effect reverses st some point once you discontinue the medication? What is the wash out period for the drug do be out of the system? Thank you Tfoxmorgan@comcast,net

Hi thanks for contacting HCM,

Yaa thinning of hair can be occured during topamax therapy. Alopecia or abnormal hair might be developed topamax therapy. Another skin disorder like a dermatitis, eczema, or skin discoloration may be occur. If u noticed epistaxis, purpura abnormal weight than contact your doctor.

After discontinue the topamax, drug completely wash out from your body within 3 to 4 days in normal renal function. If u noticed more thinning of hair then discontinue and take other medication for migraine.
