What Are The Side Effects Of Topamax?

I was on Topamax for 23 years and went through some testing with my doctors to go off, but could not pass, so went back on the (Topiramate)generic instead. Having a lot of side effects. One is the sun rays. I break out in a rash. Never had that problem at all with the real Topamax .. Will it get any better or just stay the same.

Hello Dear. Side effect of topamax include Tiredness, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, tingling of the hands/feet, loss of appetite, bad taste in your mouth, diarrhea, and weight loss may occur. Mental problems such as confusion, slowed thinking, trouble concentrating or paying attention, nervousness, memory problems, or speech/language problems may also occur.

Rashes are not one of the commonly reported side effect. It might be due to some other reason. kindly consult a dermatologist for that. You might be allergic to something around you.
