What Are The Side Effects Of Torleva,Lonazep, canmilk?

Hello doctor, I’m suffering from Partial onset seizures; my physician prescribed me Torleva 500mg, Lonazep 0.25mg & canmilk daily. My medical report shows everything normal (MRI-Brain, Urine, and Blood). My physician asks me to take for 3 years. Now I am facing hair loss in my head & legs. This is due to side effects of these medicines? What will be the side effects of these medicines if I take 3years?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Torleva (Levetiracetam) or Lonazep (Clonazepam) does not cause any hair loss.
Antiepileptic drugs are usually given for 02-03 years (seizure free period) before withdrawing the drug gradually over the next 2–3 months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
