Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband developed what looks like hives. The doctor prescribed fluocinide cream. It seemed to work at first, but they came back worse. I gave him zyrtec. He takes Lexapro, could that be a problem. He is itching all over his upper arms and back. Thant you. Can he take 2 over the counter zyrtec?
Using Zyrtec together with Lexapro may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. It may also cause impaired thinking and judgment. Your husband should avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery if any.
Hope to have answered your query. Regards/
