In a 54 year old woman who has been on amphetamine salts 30mg 4x a day some can not stay on task i started compulsive shopping compulsive cleaning hoardingI need to file bankruptcy but cant get focused I ve lost teeth my skin is a mess Ive caused severe arthtritis in both hands from over working where I have to have surgery I didn t go to drs to get my prescription s th7s first day off am in any danger i live alone in the past couple weeks even while taking meds all i want to d o is sleep i feel like a dead person

Ok, this is a stimulant abuse and dependence syndrome. It's tough to get over but it eventually gets better. The effect of the stimulants is quite hard to leave. Furthermore the body gets used to a lot of stimulation and there is quite a withdrawal from not being on them..

You might want to get into addiction treatment. Even inpatient rehab. since it is quite challenging.
