General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Aten 50mg belongs to the group of medications known as beta blockers which are used for lowering blood pressure and relieving chest pain by reducing blood flow to the heart. It is also used for irregular heart rhythm or arrhythmia and prevents future heart attacks, stroke and migraines. Side effects of aten 50 are fatigue, cold extremities, dizziness, diarrhea, slow heart rate, nausea, shortness of breath, hypotension, headache, reduced sex drive, constipation, leg pain, unexplained tiredness, low blood sugar levels etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General and Family Physician,
