I m currently on birth control (the pills).. ive been taking them for a whole week now and ive been noticing my stomach has been a little tender feeling. I also have this odd pain underneath my underarm area; im currently menstruating and usually my cycle lasts for 5 days, every since ive been taking these pills now my period last even longer.... is this all natural? or should i really be concerned?.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Oral contraceptives are normally associated with a decrease in the intensity and length of a period.

The contraceptive can sometimes be associated with discomfort in the breasts, abdominal discomfort.

Some persons react differently to medication so if this contraceptive is not suited for you then you can ask your doctor for another one that may be better for you.

I hope this helps
