What Are The Side Effects Of Giving Double Doses Of The Following Medications To 6 Year Old Girl?

My daughter is 6 weighing. 44 pounds. She accidentally got double doses on 3 of her meds because I feel asleep and her dad didn t know I had already given them. These are what she got double on: prescribed amount/what was given. Enalapril- 2.5mg/5mg Clonadine-0.1mg/0.2mg Cyproheptadine-4mg/8mg

hi thanks for your query.giving faise/accidental high doses in children can be dangerous at times.one has be vigilant towards such dangerous errors.
this girl is currently receiving 2 antihypertensve medications(enalapril 2.5,clonidine 0.1)....over doses of this drug can result in low blood pressure(hypotension).
cyproheptadine is a sedating antihistaminic.overdose of this drug can result in drowsiness/feeling excess sleepy.
GENERALLY IN THIS CASE THERE WILL BE NO SUCH EVIL EFFECTS ARISING SINCE ONLY ONCE IT HAPPENED.SO BE CAREFULL NEXT TIME....BUT DO WATCH FOR SUCH SYMPTOMS AND MONITOR HER BLOOD PRESSURE.
