What Are The Side Effects Of Having Rantac 150 Mg With Cheston Cold Tablets?

Hi Doctor, My name is Diganto Goswami. For the past 2 weeks i had an extreme situation of whooping cough and everytime phlegm comes out in its pure thick form. Considering this i started taking in Cheston Cold with cough suppresant. This helped control my cough but i feel physically very weak. I would like to let you know before my cough symptoms i had a symptom(since 3 weeks prior to cough) of feeling always full and whenever i ate(light/heavy) i used to burp. Can you suggest if i should start taking RANTAC 150 with Cheston Cold Tablets . Also, is there an alternative to cough suppressant as i think this is making me weak Regards, Diganto Goswami (0000)

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is the infection (cough and cold) that is causing weakness.

There are no known interactions between these medications so you use them safely together.

It the rantac does not help with the bloating and burping, you can try an alternative such as nexium, protonix, prilosec or prevacid.

I hope this helps
