What Are The Side Effects Of Having Modus 10 Mg Tablets While Pregnancy?
Hi I am 40 plus years old. I had my last period on 18th August and then missed my period in september. I waited for 7 full days after 18th and did a home pregnancy test twice which was negative both the times. I went to see a gynecologist and she prescribed me Modus 10 mg twice a day for 5 days. I took that but still did not have my periods .. then on 5th october i did get an ulraosund but even on that there was no pregnancy.. now ater 7 days on 12th i did do a pregnancy test and it was positive. what is this. and do suggest me that is Modus 10 mg harmful and can harm my conception

Of course, Modus 10 is used to regularize the periods and to stop irregular periods. However, it may have some unwanted effects in pregnancy particularly in women who are unaware of pregnancy or not properly investigated for pregnancy. It may have teratogenic effect like web toes and fingers, masculinization of female fetus (Infant Genitalia) as well as low birth-weight etc. Hence, in your case, I will advise you to consult your doctor immediately.
