Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I had a flu and I treated it with Humex for flu ( the one that has a pill for morning, lunch, dinner and night). I took the treatment for 3 days and last night I took the last pill for night, but after that I started to sweat more and could not sleep. Although in the end I slept for 5 hours straight last night, and 3 hours prior to taking the pill, when I woke up I felt tired and I my eyes feel hazzy - like I have a light fog over them. I tried sleeping a little at lunch, but no success, although I feel tired. Is there something to do with the pill ( which I sopped taking)?
This humex medicine can cause drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, elevated of blood pressure or blurring of vision and disorientation. Twice a day is enough and don't take more than that. If no improvement please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
