Hi,

Taking CPL Alliance Ranitidine while on anti-clotting drug warfarin may increase the risk of bleeding. Your mother may need a dose adjustment and careful monitoring of International Normalized Ratio (INR).

Her doctor should be informed if she has any unusual bleeding or bruising, vomiting of blood or blood in the urine or stools, headache, dizziness, or weakness. There is no documented evidence of other drugs causing such harmful interaction with warfarin hence they may be given to her safely.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
